Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It blocks the release of acetylcholine in the muscles, paralyzing the specific musculature necessary for the treatment according to the objective, in order to soften and prevent wrinkles, delaying the aging of the face.
